BIO
I am a Recording Artist, Film/Media Composer, and Music Educator. I was born and raised in the suburbs of the San Francisco Bay Area, and now reside in Los Angeles, CA.
From an early age, I had a curiosity for a variety of creative pursuits, from visual art to creative writing, and finally music. I began playing piano in early grade school, begrudgingly at first, and love happened when I began composing a few years later. Throughout my adolescence, I explored a range of genres/styles in different environments - middle school rock band, high school jazz ensemble, and learning the craft of songwriting at boarding school.
In May 2019, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music, with concentrations in Composition, Film Scoring, and Contemporary Writing and Production. At Berklee, I maintained piano as my principle instrument, studying under various professors and playing in several mixed-styled ensembles.
Following my graduation from Berklee, I released my official debut album, entitled Unfinished Portrait (2020), which features eight original solo piano compositions of ranging musical styles and colors. It is available to listen on all major streaming platforms.
I received my Master in Music in Film Scoring in Spring 2022, as part of the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program at the Seattle Film Institute.
I’m currently working on my next EP, exploring new terrain and featuring some of my musical friends and collaborators. I continue to teach private lessons and collaborate with musical artists as an arranger and/or fellow co-writer.
